where h is Planck's constant. h-bar commonly occurs in applications involving angular momentum. It is implemented in Mathematica as PlanckConstantReduced in the Mathematica add-on package Miscellaneous`PhysicalConstants` (which can be loaded with the command <<Miscellaneous`).
